I provide communications and technical support for all sponsored projects and SVA programs.
This includes, but is not limited to:
– Maintaining Powerbase and CRM email database
– Supporting hosting and design for WordPress websites
– Facilitating ongoing technical support for sponsored organizations
– Ensuring systems are in place for digital tools and monitor metrics

– Working with various departmental projects, including multiple digital series for PBS Digital Studios
– Touching every aspect of the production process from pre-production through publishing and digital engagement
– Researching sourcing archival, stock, music and visual assets, and assisting in on-set production
– Creating thumbnails, social copy, and metadata

Assisted content creation, IT, development, and news writing teams with their daily tasks while also creating and audio engineering my own published radio story.

Ownership of various programs including, but not limited to, a film festival, a scholarship program for underserved youth, identity-based diversity programs, and social activities. This role also includes hosting informational sessions, team meetings, volunteer recruitment, and event planning.

Recruiting and organizing for voter engagement campaigns. This role also included advocacy and policy work surrounding the rights of all people in North Carolina to have a fair vote.

Participants engage in the process to assess the management capacity of their nonprofit as a benchmark to determine future capacity building. The assessment process fosters a working knowledge on 12 fundamental management principles and the current management condition of a nonprofit.

This training showed the best practices for YouTube, and teaches participants how to create their own visuals using Google Earth and Google Trends.
